Movin' on up!

I wonder how many of you actually remember The Jeffersons, ha ha... Though I am moving up. Up to Canada, that is! I want take time to introduce you all to the study abroad possibilities. I am a French major, business minor. And this next semester, I will be traveling internationally to Canada for six months to be in two programs; one is a study abroad semester at a French Université called Université de Moncton (University of Moncton in Moncton, New Brunswick) and the second is a French immersion program in Nova Scotia at Sainte-Anne University (L'univesité Sainte-Anne).

I will be leaving January 4 and returning in late June, most likely around June 19. All my courses will be in French and during the second program, I will not be allowed to talk in English! Can you imagine??? Ha ha, it's going to be so great! I don't really know what to expect and I'll be traveling all by myself. All foreign language majors and minors should be doing a study abroad semestre and now I am going to take mine with French and travel to Canada. :)

The semester has been stressful, but that's like every semester. There's always new troubles, new happiness and new friends to meet. And I know I will have my share of difficulties in Canada, but I have faith that the good experiences will outweigh the hardship of adapting to a new culture.

Stay tuned!
