Weekend!

The weekend is here! Today was a busy week! I got a lot accomplished and still have a lot more to work on(-cough- homework)! I'm having a really good time, I love times when I feel close to UCA.

So Thursday I joined the other bloggers for a photoshoot to get some pictures made to update the blog layouts. It was a fun time, we went to a building during X period(which is a time slot that no one has class and people can have a refreshing amount of time to eat, chat, have meetings, and get things done during the week) and got to meet the man who takes pictures for the campus and got to be the faces for UCA's blogs. I had never done anything like that before, so even though it was a few minutes in the act, I still got to see what it was like to work with a professional. And we had some fun getting to and from the building on one of the little cart mobiles that one can see running all over campus each day. And what's even more cool is I never rode on one before Thursday!

I'm thinking of joining the Ambassadors, too. I have a few friends in it and it seem like a really nice thing to get involved with. Though, I'll need to know the campus better if I expect to give tours!

Friday night I went to the Chi Alpha VMAs. Chi Alpha is a really great trans-denominational campus ministry and Friday a lot of the groups within had music videos they made shown and we had a fun, formal(optional to those who came) attire to look as and take pictures. It was really fun! Afterward I went to iHop and ate with a lot of good friends. Great way to start the weekend, I must say!

I'm getting concerned with my grades, so I'm learning not to be afraid and to TALK with my professors! People say it's easy, but I get really antsy about it and neglect to. So, now I'm being assertive and taking control of my grades. Gotta stay on top of things in college!
